Winnie came to us earlier than "ideal". Dave admired her dam, Tripper, for many years, and is one of Tripper's special people. When Lee and Marianne decided not to keep a bitch puppy out of the litter, Winnie came to us, just a year after Villa. (We like to space the dogs out more than a year, so they're not all old at the same time.) Winnie is a bundle of precocious energy with an "off" switch. Being so close in age, she and cousin Villa are soul mates and almost inseparable.

Winnie and Dave make a great team. They started tracking training in fall of 2009, Winnie was certified in Summer, 2010, then passed at her first test in October, 2010- which was also Dave's first tracking test as a handler!!! There is much more to come from this Winsome gal.
